October Water Cooler: From Montana, with water love ๐Ÿ’™

The gang got back together again in Big Sky Country to retreat, reconnect, and dream our future into existence. Iโ€™m normally rooted in dry Southern California, so it was a treat to be surrounded by old woods, glassy lakes, and glaciers! Between planning sessions, we also visited beautiful Glacier National Park to ground us in what weโ€™re fighting for. Our wild earth, the plants and animals we share it with, and the communities we call home.ย

While being in nature has given me life, I wonโ€™t lie, Dr. Jane Goodallโ€™s passing unearthed some deep grief in me. We once held an event together when I worked at TreePeople, and it changed me. We lost a movement matriarch, and her urgent message of loving fiercely and embodying radical hope is our assignment.ย

Webinar: Building relationships (and power) with creators and influencers

Social media is the #1 source of news, taking the top spot from TV for the first time. Itโ€™s why we need to meet people where they get their information.

Join us for a conversation with environmental educator Isaias Hernandez (@queerbrownvegan) and Climate Advocacy Lab to learn how to work with creators (aka โ€œinfluencersโ€) to make our work human, heartfelt, and even hilarious. Weโ€™ll cover why these collaborations matter in todayโ€™s media landscape, intentional relationship-building, and more. Bring your questions and learn directly from Isaias on best practices for creative partnerships!
